#008: Bodybuilding to Balanced Living: My Story 🏋️‍♂️💙

I’d like to open up a bit and share a personal story with you.

Fitness has played a major role in my life for the past 15 years. But the journey has been far from easy.

There was a period when I was deeply into bodybuilding, participating in competitive shows. But reflecting on it now, I can see that I was quietly grappling with body dysmorphia.

This struggle played a major part in my decision to step away from competitive bodybuilding.

Instead, I resolved to concentrate on becoming healthier, stronger, and more content.

Looking back, I realize it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Just like many of you, I play numerous roles in life – I’m a father, husband, brother, son, and friend.

Here’s a snapshot of my lovely family and me.

I, too, face my own challenges and hiccups, but I remain committed to a balanced and healthy lifestyle for both myself and my family.

I’m not here to tell you how to navigate your fitness journey flawlessly.

Believe me; there have been days when I’ve skipped workouts and indulged in tons of feel-good food.

And you know what? That’s completely fine.

Let’s remember we are human, and having off days is natural. Treat yourself with kindness and compassion, as you would towards a friend or a loved one.
